Foto Friday: week 17

The marvel and mayhem of life in the preschool lane
This Woman's Work
...written by Kate Bush, sung by Maxwell.
E is on a cooking spree these days and I'm more than happy to be the recipient of his culinary delights. Tonight, we ate delicious, juicy burgers with sharp white cheddar hidden inside alongside grilled asparagus and sweet potato. Of course, I had to contribute somehow besides loading the dishwasher, so I bought a bottle of wine to enjoy with our meal [and Glee afterwards!].
Cafe Culture Pinotage is infused with coffee beans, which you can taste. It sounds weird, but it's quite divine. It's smooth, a bit sweet, and went perfectly with our scrumptious meal! This South African wine is only available twice a year so you can bet I'll be stocking up at my local LCBO! For $13.95, it's too good to pass up!
Another week down and seven more pictures up. For those of you doing Project 365, how're you keeping up? Are you losing steam? Interest? Are you learning any new photography tricks? What keeps you motivated?
E and I are ending a busy day with a great new wine I *found* at the LCBO: Gazela Vinho Verde, a light, refreshing Portugese wine. It was a perfect way to unwind on our back porch before getting ready for the event of the week: Glee! I can't wait to see Mr. Schue and Sue!
I've been having difficulty being on time this week -- first a late *What I loved...* post and now an almost-forgotten *Foto Friday*! Without further ado, here they are in all their glory:
With all the traveling, birthdays and chaos last month, March has come and gone so quickly that I almost forgot my *What I loved...* list! A little late, but here it is:
1. NYC. Amidst all the craziness, our week-long stay in March was full of reunions with loved ones, the most precious possession we had to leave behind.
2. My one and only, E. He's part of the list every month, but this month is special because it was his birthday and he relaunched his shiny new website, Fit4LifeNYC.
On Sunday, April 18, 2010, my family and I will be walking with one of my oldest and dearest friends in support of the Multiple Sclerosis Society of Canada.
Paula has lived with MS for the last 10 years, but if you were to meet her, you'd never guess it. From the moment she gets up in the morning to the minute her head hits her pillow, she is on the go. She is a fantastic mom to 2 young children, a great wife and a wonderful friend. She doesn't let MS slow her down, when she can help it. She even designed the fantastic logo above for the team's t-shirt!
We believe that we will help to end multiple sclerosis. If you want to support this cause click here or the logo above.
